Change maximum upload size Word-Press HTTP error on image Go-daddy

There are many different ways to do this fix.

This method is for Go-daddy costumers that do not have a control panel and are having issues uploading images.

You need to use a file transfer program. I use File-zilla its free. If you need it click this link  and choose

Create a file with notepad.  

Inside this file copy and paste this code

post_max_size = 256M

upload_max_filesize = 256M

memory_limit = 256M

max_execution_time = 300

max_input_vars = 3000

max_file_uploads = 75

max_input_time = 600

Save as and name it

User.ini

Transfer this file using file-zilla

Then past it into the root

This may look confusing.

Look to the right of your File-zilla and click on

HTML

and paste it in there.

Wait 5 minutes for changes to take effect .

The issue is when your URL of your website includes index.php in every page or post you make.

This happened to me after installing SEO plugin named Yoast.

For example one of my pages looked like this

webcloudonline.com/index.php/search-engine-optimization/

How to WordPress remove index php from url

First, go to your WordPress

Dashboard.

Then click on

Settings

A pull down will appear. Then choose

Permalinks

From the options, choose

Post name.

Hit save.

All of your pages will be changed automatically, and the index.php will be removed.
